Digital Radiography (Digital X-Rays)

For many years, dentists have used x-rays to assist in the diagnosis of dental problems otherwise invisible to the naked eye. While most offices still use film to make x-rays, we use the latest digital x-ray system from DEXIS, a world leader in digital imaging. Digital radiography improves patient safety by reducing radiation exposure by 80% or more compared to traditional film-type x-ray systems. In addition, the clearer images produced by the DEXIS digital x-ray system allow Dr. Pham to make a more accurate diagnosis of your dental needs.

Intraoral Camera

This advanced technology uses a miniaturized camera to take full color pictures and videos of the inside of your mouth. It’s a wonderful device that most patients seem to love. The close-up views provided by the intraoral camera allow Dr. Pham to point out problem areas, potential concerns, and explain recommended treatments. Cavitron

The Cavitron is a state of the art dental tool for cleaning your teeth. Instead of scraping your teeth with old-fashioned metal scrapers, the cavitron ultrasonic cleaner utilizes oscillating sound waves to gently vibrate the tartar away from your teeth. Not only does the Cavitron make teeth cleaning more comfortable, the Cavitron does a much better job of removing tartar from your teeth.

Rotary Endodontics

For all endodontic procedures (root canals), Dr. Pham uses a computer controlled electric handpiece. This technology allows Dr. Pham to clean and shape the canals faster, more accurately, and more thoroughly than the hand files that many dentists still use. For the patient, this means a shorter appointment, a more comfortable treatment, and a better outcome.
